HIKING 

The Wednesday Spring Short Hikes series begins March 17, 2010 

We will now meet at the Granite Run Mall on Baltimore Pike (Route 1) between Routes 352 and 452.  See directions below..  

We leave promptly at 9:30 AM.  Bring your lunch and wear comfortable shoes and socks.  Sneakers are not suitable for many of the trails.

            • March 17 - White Clay Creek (PA)

• March 24 - Struble Trail

• March 31 - Fort Washington State Park

• April 7 - Bonner Park

• April 14 - Kelly Drive

• April 21 - White Clay Creek Park (DE)

• April 28 - Wissahickon Creek

• May 5 - Sadsbury Woods

• May 12 - Jenkins Arboretum/Valley Forge 

• May 19 - Smedley Park/Blue Route

Even if you cannot make all the hike, plan to join the group for as many as your schedule permits. You will enjoy the outings.

Directions to new Short Hikes meeting place: Going west from the Media area on Route 1 or Baltimore Pike, turn right at the second stop light after these two roads merge together.  (You will see McDonalds on the right and the large Rothman Institute building on your left.).  At the first crossing make a U-turn to the right into the large parking lot
